Maintenance and Support - Microsoft Access

Microsoft Access was first released around 1993.  Our work with this has been extensive, including hundreds of quickies, massive .ADP/SQL projects for factory production control, specialized 'tack on' applications that maintain data 'in parallel' to closed package software sharing SQL Server tables, and 'rocket science' coding solutions in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) that were 'the path of least resistance' for getting a problem solved 'overnight'.  We have interfaced bar code printers and scanners in the production control system.  Some systems were/are basically data import/export 'front ends' to client/server databases, a role that is now more commonly carried out in SSIS.
